Art Obleton Jr. was born in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and has lived in Greater Cleveland for most of his life. Greater Cleveland is where his heart is, as he has a great appreciation for its people, seasons, and neighborhoods. Northeast, Ohio is certainly home to him as he attended Kent State University which is approximately 45 minutes from where he attended high school. At Kent State, he earned a Bachelor’s of Business
Administration, graduating in December 2000.
Art’s real estate career started as a result of a spiritual journey due to a trying financial time in late 2012. While reading his Bible one morning he heard a voice from within tell him, “Work for me, I pay well.” He continued to read the Bible, then heard, “Hire yourself.” He knew immediately this was a divine inspiration. A couple days later while praying in his living room, he had a divinely inspiring idea to call the Ohio Division of Real Estate to learn what it would take to obtain his real estate license again, having been briefly licensed in 2005-2006. After learning the necessary requirement of passing the exam once again, he did so in 2013.
His real estate career began by working with investors, then owner occupant buyers and eventually sellers. Throughout the eight fruitful years of being in the real estate business, Art has honed his skills to routinely exceeds the expectations of his residential and commercial clients. He absolutely loves creating relationships through real estate and connecting his real estate friends with new clientele.
